Holt is more than just a place on the map—it’s a community that people are proud to call home. Stretching from Hampton Park in the north to Tooradin on the coast, it is one of the most diverse and fastest-growing areas in the country.
Families from all walks of life have chosen to build their future here, drawn by the strong sense of community, opportunity, and belonging. I know this because I live here too.
Holt is one of the youngest electorates in Australia, with an average age of just 33 years and nearly half of all households speak a language other than English at home, reflecting the incredible multiculturalism that defines our community.
Holt is named after former Prime Minister Harold Holt, and is located in Melbourne’s South-Eastern suburbs, covering 252 sq km within the City of Casey.
Our electorate is home to vital industries that keep our economy moving—retail, healthcare, education and training, manufacturing, and more. But beyond the numbers, Holt is about people. It’s about the teachers who shape the next generation, the nurses and doctors who care for us, and the workers who keep our suburbs running.
Holt is a place of opportunity, resilience, and community spirit. It’s my home, and it’s an honour to represent the people who make it such a special place.
